The knives are heavy, heavy duty and super sharp. The block is just OK but as long as the knives are top notch, I can live with the block. I absolutely recommend this set. Knives are weighty, well balanced and fairly sharp. The scissors are a little on the cheap side and add very little to the set, in fact, they don't even match the rest of the set; perhaps they were just an afterthought. The paint on the block seems to chip off pretty easily around the knife slots. I paid a little over $40 for the set and feel it has good value at that price. |
